New Publication - Increased chloroplast occupancy in bundle sheath cells of rice hap3H mutants

International collaborative C4 Rice Project
An international team jointly discovered that the OHAP3H gene can regulate the size and number of chloroplasts in rice bundle sheath cells, and the Oshap3H mutant can break through the restrictions on chloroplast development in bundle sheath cells. Loss function of OsHAP3H leads to an increase in the number of chloroplasts. This study also used deep learning to establish Chloro-Count intracellular chloroplast 2D and 3D quantitative methods.
